We have recently collaborated with Nightingale Housing, by gifting a few branded Joyrolla carts for their residents shared usage. Nightingale is a not-for-profit organisation building apartments that are socially, financially and environmentally sustainable.

We felt a creative and sustainable alignment with how Nightingale design and build their apartments. Nightingale designs each building with a holistic approach to sustainability, following basic principles of passive design and material reductionism. They work hard to reduce the energy consumption, carbon emissions and waste in the construction, operation and maintenance of each Nightingale building.
A place to be neighbourly
Their buildings offer generous communal spaces, such as communal laundries, productive gardens and outdoor cooking areas, so that there are more chances to meet a neighbour and develop a sense of community.

De-prioritising the car
Living sustainably also means having your lifestyle within reach. That’s why they locate buildings in well-appointed urban areas close to shops, markets, accessible by public transport, cycling routes, car-share and other local amenities. They also partner with GoGet and Lug+Carrie and only have a few car spaces for the whole block.
Our Carts new homes are at Nightingale Marrickville (NSW), Nightingale Prestons (VIC) and Nightingale Wurru-Wurru (VIC).
Keep your eyes peeled for Black carts around these areas.
