It started as an idea to design a truly beautiful and useful water bottle. Something unmistakably Joyrolla.
We spoke with our industrial designers, shared our vision, and after a few early sketches, one concept stood out, a slimline, flask-like bottle. It was big, bold, and quietly confident. It just felt right. Balanced, functional, and a little nostalgic. It felt like Joyrolla.

Then came the hard part…making it real.
We assumed that because the design resembled a large hip flask, there would be factories everywhere ready to bring it to life. Turns out, not quite. Most said yes, but only if we changed the design. The offset lid? Not possible. The curved rectangular body? Too complicated, needs to change. The proportions? Too unconventional.
Dozens of factories later, we finally found a partner who understood what we were trying to do. Someone willing to help us make the bottle our way.
But something still didn’t sit right. The size. It was too big. Too bulky for everyday carry. So we decided to take matters into our own hands. Literally.
We learnt 3D software, bought a 3D printer, and got to work designing, printing, tweaking, resizing, and printing again. Our desks quickly filled with plastic prototypes and measuring tools. Each new version brought us closer to that sweet spot between volume and packability.

Then we added personality. The Ziggy Strap, a wavy silicone loop that adds some playful utility. And the Ribbed Sleeve, bringing protection, texture, and grip. These small details turned a simple bottle into something you’d want to keep, not just carry.
What started as a “quick project” turned into a full-blown design odyssey. Nine months in, we still weren’t near production. We still had packaging prototypes to design, because there was no way this Vessel would be shoved into a basic cardboard box.
Now, after nearly eleven months of design, redesign, and a few testing moments with our 3D printer, we’re finally ready to share it with the world.

The Joyrolla Vessel — slim, stainless steel, leakproof, and designed from the ground up.
